Abstract

This is a project of the Academic Master's thesis of Care Sciences, Universidade Federal Fluminense, whose objectives are to describe how members of the nursing staff caring for clients with injuries, to identify how these clients are cared for and discuss the knowledge and practices in interactions of members of the nursing staff and clients with wounds. Qualitative study of the case study, to be held with members of the nursing staff and clients with wounds in a primary in the city of Cruzeiro do Sul, state of Acre. Data collection occurs through systematic observation and semi-structured interviews, which will be subjected to thematic analysis and discussed based on the Theory of Diversity and Universality of Cultural Care Madeleine Leininger.
