Abstract

The Diabetes mellitus (DM) it is characterized by chronic hyperglycemia with disturbances in carbohydrates, lipids and proteins metabolism. The goal of this study was to analyze the process of restoration patients bearers of Diabetes mellitus type 2 with high blood pressure associated. They were evaluated 80 individuals registered and accompanied in specialized clinic. The data were obtained by the application of a form contend socioeconomic and clinical data regarding the phenomenon Restoration of the International Classification for Nursing Practice version Alpha. The results were analyzed with the software SPSS version 13.0. It was presented the descriptive statistics and confidence intervals of 95%. It was identified larger proportions of female, age mean of 59,85 years of age, marital status married, retired, low education level, low family income, advanced time diagnosis, decompensate glycemia, blood pressure values and body mass index elevated. The phenomena of restoration process with larger prevalence were: Discontinuous sleep (71,3%), increased irritability (57,5%), sensibility decreased to the external stimulus (56,3%) and to difficulty initiating the decrease of the body activity (52,5%). It was concluded that the restoration process in diabetics is strongly pledged and that presents multiple phenomena with occurrence high proportion.
