Programs for promoting a healthy lifestyle in the context of school health: a scoping review

Abstract

Introdução: A maioria das crianças vão à escola, um contexto de estimulação para estilos de vida saudável. Tradicionalmente a educação para a saúde na escola centra-se na capacitação das crianças por temáticas, com pouco envolvimento da família. Objetivo: Mapear e examinar programas de promoção de estilos de vida saudável nas crianças (3-10 anos) em contexto escolar que abordem 3 ou mais temáticas. Método: Scoping review com metodologia do Institute Joanna Briggs (JBI) e recurso à plataforma Rayyan QCRI. Resultados: De 3534 artigos selecionaram-se 19 programas de promoção de estilos de vida saudável, de 13 países diferentes. Quase todos incluíam alimentação saudável, atividade física e educação parental; 7 incluiam dependências de ecrã e 3 o sono. Conclusão: Os programas que incluíam os pais eram mais eficientes, pois são eles que modelam os estilos de vida dos filhos. As evidências científicas encontradas podem orientar intervenções em saúde mais eficientes.
