The surgical outcome occurred in 42.3% of the cases, and 18.6% died, variables were also obtained regarding pregnancy, birth, and hospitalization, which could be related to the studied cases. Conclusion: The low supply of breast milk exclusively, in only 5.1% of the cases, is one of the results that may have had a more significant influence on the rate of Necrotizing Enterocolitis of this Unit, being this a variable cited in many studies as the main form of prevention of infection. Neonatology teams must reevaluate their care processes, mainly by promoting human milk supply exclusively to babies.
2025-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Online Brazilian Journal of Nursinghttps://www.objnursing.uff.br/index.php/nursing/article/view/6809Educational booklet for the promotion of immunization against COVID-19: construction and validation2025-03-07T18:58:35+00:00Isabele Silva dos SantosIsabelle-silvaa@hotmail.comRichardson Augusto Rosendo da Silvarirosendo@hotmail.comAlessandra Conceição Leite Funchal Camachoalessandracamacho@id.uff.brJose Rebberty Rodrigo Holandarebberty@gmail.comThais Targino Ferreirathais.targino.017@ufrn.edu.brSérgio Danillo Santana de Lima Juracisantana_danillo@hotmail.comJanmilli da Costa Dantasjanmilli@yahoo.com.brHarlon França de Menezesharlonmenezes@hotmail.com
Objective: To describe the process of building and validating an educational booklet, aimed at the general population, about COVID-19 vaccines available in Brazil. Method: Methodological study, conducted between August 2022 and July 2023, operationalized in three stages, namely: (1) literature review, (2) construction of educational booklet and (3) content validation by expert judges through the online Delphi technique in two rounds. The participants were 56 health professionals, recruited through the Lattes Platform and the snowball technique. Items with Content Validity Index ≥ 0.80 and Kappa Index ≥ 0.70 were considered validated. Mann-Whitney and Cronbach Alpha tests were applied. Results: Verification of the validation of the primer in the Delphi 1 round had a global average of 0.88 and Kappa of 0.91. There were suggestions for improvements in the first version that were accepted and, the booklet was resubmitted to Delphi 2, having indexes in the value of 1. The Mann-Whitney test revealed significant difference and Cronbach's Alpha showed high reliability. Conclusion: The booklet “Vaccination against COVID-19: What do you need to know?” It has adequate content validity for the promotion of immunization against COVID-19.
2025-08-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Online Brazilian Journal of Nursinghttps://www.objnursing.uff.br/index.php/nursing/article/view/6810Clinical protocol of intra-hospital transport of critical care patients: action research2025-03-07T19:58:49+00:00Ana Paula Gomes da Cruzanapcruz5@yahoo.com.brEliane de Fátima Almeida LimaElianelima66@gmail.comVerónica Rita Dias Coutinhovcoutinho@esenfc.ptGreyce Pollyne Santos Silva Minarinigreyce.minarini@gmail.comKarla Crozeta Figueiredokarla.crozetafigueiredo@gmail.comCândida Caniçali Primocandidaprimo@gmail.com
Objective: To describe the process of developing and validating an intra-hospital transport protocol for critically ill patients. Method: Action research with a qualitative approach, conducted in a public university hospital in Southeast Brazil, with thirty-nine members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team who formed the Planning Group. Data collection occurred over nine seminars, using a flexible and non-linear script. Data were analyzed through categorical content analysis and descriptive statistics. Results: An intra-hospital transport protocol for critically ill patients was developed, along with five flowcharts and a transport checklist. Conclusion: The process was carried out with active and collaborative participation.
